Environment Map

Select a classroom set-up tool from your research, and use a design program of your choice (e.g., Canva) to create an environment map for a preschool classroom. Include furniture and materials that would support children’s physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional development on the map.

Write a 350-word summary of your environment map that includes:

• A description of each learning area
• A list of suggested materials for each learning area, including technology
• An explanation of why you included each learning area and how each learning area supports the development of preschoolers
• An explanation of how your environment accommodates learners with exceptionalities
