Is the topic relevant to the needs of the learner?
Is the lesson developmentally appropriate?
Are the objectives clearly written and include audience, behavior, conditions and degree of expectation?
Does the anticipatory set arouse curiosity and interest?
Which standard/standards does the topic align with?
Are instructional strategies and visual aids utilized?
Was the lesson built on prior knowledge and introduced properly?
Was there an opportunity for guided practice provided?
Were stimulating questions requiring higher level thinking asked?
Was the lesson sequenced for maximum retention?
Was the lesson summarized and closed properly?
What means of assessment will be used?
How was the lesson differentiated to meet the individual needs of special students? How was it adapted for handicapped students?
How was technology utilized?
Were all components included?
