Paper on Gezi Uprising in which occurred in Turkey as a civil resistance campaign previously.The paper should include
– A brief historical background for the civil resistance but it shouldn’t be the central part of the final project
– Mainly it should describe a political process that involves the civil resistance campaign and analyze the Gezi uprising on the theories on civil resistance . Analyzing which methods of nonviolent action is employed by protesters and which mechanisms of change were at play.
– The fallowing dynamics should also be examined: The level of participation, resilience of protesters despite the repression , loyalty shifts among power holders , political and economic costs of the civil resistance campaign , existing political opportunities , radical flank effects , external support mobilized and tactical diversity

– It can also include how the non-violent tactics of gezi uprising mobilized people , how government suppressed protestors what was its effect on the movement , effect of polarized society on the movement
