An essay that deals with key issues relating to the sociology of education which must include an evaluation of
1) an aspect of educations socialising role
2)Write an eassy with  2 different perspectives and their corresponding ideas on the role of education in contemporary society.
The essay should also have some discussion on the the concept of meritocracy as well as a critical assessment of labelling theories.
