Demonstrate a critical appreciation of multi professional working and the current dynamic context in which this is developing.

It requires a critical understanding of the professionalism of the children’s workforce and the implications for practice. The changing role of childcare staff in the multi professional arena should be considered. Consideration should also be given to the barriers and enablers of multi professional working.

The essay may make reference to evaluation of contemporary drivers for service integration across the children’s workforce and concepts of professionalism and contemporary professional practice and analysis of the opportunities and challenges in interprofessional and multi professional working.
