Description
Select a current educational policy, or part thereof (preferably national or local), that pertains to an area of educational focus you are familiar with eg. Early Childhood Education, Primary science, Behaviour management, Secondary IT, student wellbeing etc. Critically analyse the policy (or part thereof) in terms of its underlying ideological narrative, and its impact in relation to a specific school context of your choice (eg. placement observation). Comment on and critique how the policy was enacted / responded to in this context. Remember there are complex processes at play between policy prescription and professional practice.
