Rebuttal: The United States still uses fossil fuels to generate electricity which contributes to global warming/gas emissions. Although electric vehicles are not currently living up to their zero-emission potential due to fossil-fueled power plants, their emissions are still lower and will continue to decrease as the U.S. moves towards a renewable energy infrastructure.
