Most people who are returning to work after a long weekend would say “no!” However, there are some researchers who argue that some people get too much sleep. A study in the journal Sleep has found after surveying more than 104,000 people in Japan aged 40–79, for nearly 10 years that those who reported sleeping eight or more hours a night were at greater risk of death than those who slept seven hours.
