Read the article and write a maximum of two double-spaced pages critiquing it. A critique is NOT an abstract.
You must present the aims and hypothesis of the research and the results briefly and then EVALUATE the research. Did the researchers achieve their aims, was the hypothesis supported, was the work carried out appropriately? Is the article well written? Does it communicate effectively?
First paragraph: Summarize the study in your own words (aims, hypothesis, results, conclusions).
Second paragraph: Your evaluation; you can itemized responses; you can also split your responses as “major comments” and “minor comments” (writing style, grammar/syntax, typos, problems with figure/table presentation). You could use a separate paragraph for minor comments.
