I want to ask a general question to all of you. What do you think is the difference between approaching social problems through an objectively scientific perspective versus a subjective one (use what you’ve read in chapter 1). What do you think are the dangers with too much subjectivity? Think about how this relates to people’s opinions about things like medicine, vaccines, and large-scale social initiatives like mask mandates? What examples can you give of a subjective take on these issues vs a systematic scientific one? Be sure to post twice: Once with your answer and second in response to a classmate’s post.
