Civic Disturbance Case Study (15%) (Theory)
The Civic Disturbance Case Study assignment is an individual assignment. Concurrent students should complete this activity while pending RN licensure.
Students will analyze the risks and benefits of social media responses. Visit City Hall in Sentinel City®. Observe the services and populations that may be involved with the city as a result of a civic disturbance. Review assigned readings. Answer and submit the case study’s critical thinking questions in Word format. (50 points)

Identify potential public health effects and environmental hazards related to a civic disturbance specific to Sentinel City® residents. (10 points)
Provide evidence-based rationale for the best means of communication during a civic disturbance. (10 points)
Describe the risks and benefits of using social media to alert citizens. (10 points)
Identify a minimum of two risks and a minimum of two benefits of the quick public responses that will be shared on social media. (10 points)
Include a minimum of 4 references in correct APA format. The reference list can be a combination of peer-reviewed journal references (nursing journals if possible) not more than five years old, course textbooks, and creditable online sources.
