Will there be driverless, fully automated transportation in the future? Will robots ever become part of our daily lives?

The ubiquity of Artificial Intelligence made me realize how close we are to achieve extraordinary things we could only dream of. This was the factor that sparked my interest in this particular area of Computer Science.
