This assignment will focus on Crime Prevention through Social Development. Criminal behavior can often be attributed to social environment and personal risk factors.

Part 1:

Identify a significant cause of criminality that relates to social environment factors.
Identify a significant cause of criminality that relates to personal risk factors.
Explain your answers and also include one theory that helps explain the significant cause of criminality to social environment factors and the significant cause of criminality to personal risk factors.

Part 2:

Identify and describe three “institutional levels” through which social development approaches to crime prevention are delivered. For each level, briefly describe one example of a social development crime prevention practice or program.
