we might still wish to consider reflecting on the following points  on Morrison’s evocative piece on memory:

* How would you describe the “site of memory” in your own words in light of the author’s ideas? What does this “site” look like in your view?

* Does one gain new insight or come to a new understanding of what “fiction” / “non-fiction” may further entail? How are these seemingly different literary genres or forms of writing (re)formulated by the reader after one’s reading of the piece? What would you like to say about the forms of “(auto)biography” and “memoir” based on Morrison’s ideas in the text?

* How about your thoughts on the “interview” portion of the reading? (Since no one has commented yet on this, we would like to hear a few reflections on it in particular!)
informal piece of writing.
we need to be using the present tense when we talk/discuss/write about literary texts (unless we are asked to summarize the material, or refer to a past/historical event), regardless of the type of assignment we are expected to fulfill.
