Chapter 1: Introduction: (Circa 2,000 words)

b. Definition / explanation of the concepts of disruption, types of disruption and resilience building.
c. Specific cases/examples of global disruptions and resilience building.
d. Background about Bahrain, its economy, evolution, size and composition.
e. Identification of critical factors of disruption in businesses globally, along with cause and effect analysis.
f. Disruptions among business entities and stakeholders in general at a global level, to shed more light into the topic.
Chapter 2: Literature Review (Circa: 4,000 words)
a. Key disruptions in general across business segments (global).
b. Disruptions in Bahrain (covers predominantly pre-COVID disruptions).
c. Specific section on COVID-19 disruptions.
Chapter 3: Research Methodology: (Circa 5,000 words)
a. Objectives.
b. Research strategy.
c. Data collection methodology-primary & secondary that may include:
i. Published financial statements of listed companies
ii. Databases
iii. White papers
iv. Scholarly articles
v. Business magazines
vi. Online research
d. Challenges and limitations.
e. Conclusion.
Chapter 4: Analysis & Findings (Circa 2,500 words)
a. This section intends to cover the analysis and processing of the data collected in order to arrive at key findings of our study.
b. This inter alia others would also include quantitative and qualitative assessments
c. Analysis of measures taken by government, local business organisations in general and listed entities in specific to overcome challenges posed by various disruption agents.
d. Gap analysis.
e. Identifying critical success factors.
Chapter 5: Conclusion, recommendations and way forward (Circa 2,000 words)
a. Conclusions shall be drawn up based on analysis.
b. Are there new business models, the introduction of which could be explored, that could potentially turnaround the economic and business landscape of Bahrain?
c. What could be the way forward for business entities and how can sustainability and resilience be ensured for industries, and economy of Bahrain?
d. Recommendations for business entities and stakeholders so as to ensure resilience, sustenance and growth in order to stay ahead in the era of disruption.
