This essay is exactly what it sounds like it is–a way for me to assess your writing skills. There is no need to panic, by simply completing the “assessment” according to the guidelines I have prescribed, you will receive a grade of a 100 for simply turning it in. For this assessment/assignment you will need to answer the following prompt in a 5 paragraph essay. Keep in mind that each paragraph must consist of at least 5-7 sentences to be considered a complete paragraph. This is due by the end of class and you may upload a word processing document or use the submission box provided.

Prompt: Write an essay explaining which social media platform you prefer to use the most. Choose ONE of these Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram

Paragraph 1-Intro where you clearly state your thesis to include your 3 main topic(s); Ex: I prefer to use twitter because reason 1, reason 2, and reason 3.
Paragraphs 2-4 will be your body paragraphs where you will expand on the 3 topics you mentioned in your intro/thesis paragraph;
Paragraph 5-your conclusion where you restate your thesis without bringing up anything new.
