ASSIGNMENT
Using your internet browser, locate a personality test online. There are numerous free personality tests, such as 16Personalities, or search for the term “free personality test.” Complete one personality test and save the results because you will need to use the results for your assignment. Include your summary as an attachment. (You will want to copy and paste the results into Word document and submit along with your paper).
Then, in a 3–5-page paper, do the following:
- Evaluate the accurateness of the inventory. Do you agree or disagree with the results?
- Describe how your personality type interacts with the 5 Core Values of Human Service. Include areas of weakness and create a plan to address those areas.
- Respecting the dignity and welfare of all people
- Promoting self-determination
- Honoring cultural diversity
- Advocating for social justice
- Acting with integrity, honesty, genuineness, and objectivity.
- Explain why it is important to take time to understand yourself before working closely with clients.
- Illustrate the importance of understanding your own cultural values (as discussed in this module) as well as that of your clients. Describe how you will learn this information if you do not already know this.
- Support your thoughts with one source from this week’s readings.
