Discuss the quality of the coverage, the accuracy/inaccuracy of the images presented, the assumptions made about mental illness, and an overall evaluation of the coverage.
Be scientific, back up your arguments with the research literature. How does this coverage affect those suffering from the particular form of mental illness covered?
Could you present the information in a better way? How?
Your paper will need to be 2 to 5 pages in APA format, not including a title page and reference page. The rubric will be posted on Canvas.

Option 2: Disorder of Interest
Choose a disorder that was interesting to you. This disorder will be the topic of your paper.
You will need to find and use 1 empirical scholarly article (not Wikipedia, news article, Buzzfeed, magazine)

Use Google Scholar articles
In this paper the following criteria and parts should be included:
Summary and Overview of the disorder
For example
what does it look like (how might people display this disorder or how might others see this disorder)
what are hallmark criteria and symptoms (look in the DSM-5 for help)
what is the prevalence and are certain populations of people more vulnerable to it
what causes it (is it heritable, environmental factors contribute to it, role of hormones, stress, etc)
what are the neurological components
what are some difficulties an individual may face or have difficulties with this diagnosis
Treatment options (medications, types of therapy best for treatment, social skills training, etc.)
A short summary of a peer-reviewed article about the disorder (at least half a page)
Could be over the symptoms, the causes, the prevalence, and/or the treatment options
Students must find at least one peer review article discussing the chosen disorder.
