Discussion Assignment Instructions

The thread should be 400–500 words and 3–5 paragraphs in length. Each thread should be supported with at least 2 sources in current APA format. This assignment can be single-spaced for the discussion post thread.

Discuss the differences between evidence-based practices, emerging practices, and unestablished practices. Can an intervention move between categories as more research is conducted?  Is there an emerging practice listed in the National Autism Center’s National Standards Report that you hope will move to evidence-based practices? Were you surprised by the category of any of the interventions? What is the difference between an unestablished practice and an ineffective or harmful practice?
