Develop a marketing plan

Develop a marketing plan using the 10-step process below. You will create a marketing plan for either UFC/MMA professional league.

Step 1: Define the purpose of the marketing plan. How does it align with the mission/purpose of the league you chose? Set at least 3 measurable goals and objectives within your marketing plan.

Step 2: SKIP 

Step 3: You can skip analyze market conditions, but you MUST complete a SWOT Analysis. 

Step 4: For this step, address how you will increase brand awareness, brand image, brand equity, and brand loyalty

Step 5: Using market segmentation, set your target market. If you need a reminder about market segmentation, please read the sport and consumer behavior chapter again or refer to your notes that you should have taken in class.

Step 6: How will you “package” the tangible sport product (games themselves), other core products, and product extensions. Address all 3.

Step 7: This is where you will set the prices for the products. You need to address the four factors used to determine the price discussed in class.

Step 8: Promoting the sport product. Address how you will use ADVERTISING, SALES PROMOTIONS, AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS to promote your league and its products.
