A case study is similar to what you do at shift hand-off. It includes patient age, diagnosis, medication(s), labs and any other pertinent information. You want to present the information in a systematic process that includes only pertinent information and excludes “nice to know” information.
Develop professional power point (7-10 slides with no more than 50 words per slide) case study on a patient diagnosis within your current practice area (Do not use actual name or other HIPPA protected information.) If you are not currently working, use a patient type/diagnosis from an area you have interest in.
