According to the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, these competencies are important for healthcare leaders to understand and demonstrate. Analyze your courses and experiences within the Master of Health Administration program and answer the following questions regarding your learning and development in each of the areas listed above. Your paper should be 4-6 pages in length. Cite and reference sources when needed. The paper should be a coherent essay written following current APA style guidelines, not a list of questions and answers.
1. How did you learn this concept? What specific courses, activities, and experiences (need not be from class work) contributed to this learning and your development in this area?
2. How has what you have learned been useful to you? Do you think the learning will be useful to you in the future? Why? How?
3. Are you different now after learning this than you were before? How?
4. On a scale of one (not proficient) to five (very proficient), how proficient are you in this general area? What sub-point in the list are you most proficient in? In which sub-point area do you need further development?
5. If you want to improve in this competency, what three actions could you take to accomplish that?
