Part 1:
• Using data set “Operation anxiety”, run an independent multifactorial ANOVA and conduct appropriate additional analyses to indicate where the differences are (if there were any).
• Copy and paste the results into your assignment.
• What did you identify as the dependent and independent variables and why.
• Develop an alternative hypothesis and null hypothesis for the scenario.
• Discuss from the results you received whether you reject or fail to reject the null hypotheses and why.
Part 2:
Using data set “Recall interference”:
• Run the following analyses:
o Check for normal distribution across the conditions.
o Conduct a repeated-measures one-way ANOVA.
o Conduct appropriate post hoc analyses to indicate where the differences are (if there were any).
• Copy and paste the results into your assignment.
• What did you identify as the dependent and independent variables and why.
• Develop an alternative hypothesis and null hypothesis for the scenario.
• Discuss from the results you received whether you reject or fail to reject the null hypotheses and why.
Part 3:
Using the data set “Depression”:
• Run the following analyses:
o Check for normal distribution across the conditions and groups.
o Conduct a mixed multi-factorial ANOVA.
o Conduct appropriate additional analyses, to indicate the source of main effects and interactions.
• Copy and paste the results into your assignment.
• What did you identify as the dependent and independent variables and why.
• Develop an alternative hypothesis and null hypothesis for the scenario.
• Discuss the results you received whether you reject or fail to reject the null hypotheses and why.
