Critically review a given methodology from a published journal

article. This could be a qualitative or quantitative methodology. As part of your

critique, you should consider:

– Strengths and weaknesses of the methodology

– Justification for specific approaches and measurements used over others.

– Possible alternative methodologies that could be used.

In discussing the research, you will also need to mention other related studies to

compare and contrast the methodology under scrutiny. A review of a methodology could

consider aspects related to validity, reliability, error and the consideration of confounding

variables and controls
